This isn’t really about me — it’s about you.

My name is Roy, and the only way I can describe myself these days is

this: I am a being of love living a human experience. Same as you.

We’re not separate. We’re not different.

We’re both souls remembering who we truly are — beings of love walking a short, beautiful journey on Earth.

The Crossroad

Life can feel heavy, can’t it?

We’re told to chase success, collect things, and hide behind masks. But underneath it all, there’s a quiet whisper that says there’s something more.

I once ignored that whisper. I numbed myself to my sensitivities and lived disconnected from my soul. My body began to ache, my spirit began to fade, and my higher self stepped in and said, “Enough.”

That was my crossroad.

It asked me to choose: keep living as a victim, or rise as the warrior I was born to be.

The Awakening

I wasn’t raised spiritual. Religion never resonated — too much fear, not enough love.

But one night, in tears, I surrendered.

I cried out to the Universe, “Please help me. I’ll surrender and serve if you help me heal.”

That prayer opened the door to a healing journey that changed everything. It wasn’t easy. But it was beautiful. I discovered how much love “Little Roy” needed. Healing showed me that my sensitivity — the thing I once tried to numb — is actually my greatest gift.

I used to be told I was “too sensitive,” “too emotional,” “too much.” I believed that for a long time. After my father passed in my arms, I dimmed my light completely. I did everything I could to numb my feelings.

But what I eventually learned was that most of what I was feeling wasn’t even mine.

I had to learn to set boundaries — to choose what energies I allowed in.

Now, that same sensitivity is one of my greatest strengths. It’s how I connect. It’s how I see. It’s how I love.

The Work

People often ask what I do.

I’m not a healer.

I’m not a shaman.

I say this because I choose not to take to title. I do not need a title. I'm happy just being Roy. A good friend once told me I’m a catalyst for change. I feel that's a fitting way to look at this.

I’ve died so many times. I’ve been born so many times. And in this lifetime, my calling is to help wake people up from their dream.

When the work begins, there is no Roy.

I become a “hollow bone.”

Through me, compassionate and loving helping Spirits show what healing needs to take place and how it’s to be done. I enter an altered state of consciousness — a place called “non-ordinary reality.” I walk in two worlds: one in Spirit, one on Earth.

During a healing session, I merge with my helping Spirits and allow them to work through me. My role is to get out of the way. You don’t need my opinions on what healing should look like — you need the wisdom of Spirit, which sees beyond all illusion.

When I witness someone remembering who they truly are — when they remember that they are love — it moves me to tears every time. That is my reward. That is the beauty of this work.

The Invitation

If you’ve read this far, maybe you’re standing at your own crossroad.

Maybe you feel that quiet pull toward something deeper — something more real than what the world tells you to chase.

I won’t sell you anything. I won’t promise miracles.

But if your heart feels light as you read this, we might be a good match.

If your stomach turns, we’re probably not. Either way, trust your soul. It knows the way.

Be kind to yourself. Be patient with yourself. Be compassionate with yourself. You are worth it.

You are love.

A Few Things About Me

I’m the father of two beautiful teenage daughters.

I’ll turn 50 soon.

I love a warm chai on cool mornings, and autumn is my favorite season.

I’m a Master Reiki practitioner and have studied shamanism through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies.

I am an empath born under the sign of cancer.

Water soothes me.

I’ve worked as a paramedic, a fine furniture maker, and worked in the woodworking industry — until I realized that life itself is the most beautiful ceremony of all.

I share my life with two dogs, two cats, and countless birds who visit the trees near my home. Nature keeps me grounded and reminds me every day of the sacred rhythm that connects us all.

⸻

Life, to me, is one great ceremony — a dance of remembering.

And when we remember, we sing. We dance. We love.

Because at our core, we are beings of love.
